For 17 dancers it’s a chance of a lifetime to land a chorus role in a Broadway musical, and they put themselves on the line for their dream. During the grueling audition, the performers reveal their most personal stories of ambition, joy and heartache in interviews with the director. When they’re done, only eight will remain. Honky Tonk Angels

A New Musical Comedy
Created by Ted Swindley
September 23 – October 17

This new musical comedy follows the journey of three women who, fed up with their lives, set out to chase their dreams of becoming country music stars. They meet on a bus on their way to Nashville where they strike up a friendship and decide to pursue their dream together as a trio. Celebrating the voices of female country legends like Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and Pam Tillis, you’ll recognize classics such as “Stand By Your Man,” “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” “9 to 5,” and “Harper Valley PTA.” Romance, husband problems, independence, and a little gospel thrown in for good measure result in a theatrical mixture of laughter, friendship, and maybe a tear or two.

G.I. Holiday Juke Box

A Holiday Salute
Written and Arranged by Rick Lewis
November 24 – December 19

G.I. Holiday Juke Box is a salute to the Stage Door Canteen of the 1940s. Set during WWII, Christmas time, the show features four fictitious Hollywood stars who put together a string of 1940s hits and Christmas music to entertain “the boys” at the front. Filled with great standards, holiday music, and comedy, the show is reminiscent of the USO shows of days gone by. The cast sings some of the best music of the twentieth century, including tributes to The Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby, Spike Jones, and many more. The musical numbers span big band, swing, and Latin — it’s a musical retrospective of an America we’ll never see again!
